'I used same tax avoidance scheme as Take That stars'

Gary Barlow and two other members of band Take That may have to pay back millions of pounds in tax after a court ruling.

Judge Colin Bishop ruled that the Icebreaker scheme which Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen - along with manager Jonathan Wild - had been involved in, was set up for tax avoidance purposes.

Construction worker "Alan", who admitted using the same scheme, told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "You're not breaking the law. It's there to do. It's what you pay an accountant for."

HM Revenue and Customs said they would not "tolerate abuse of the system".
