Keith Vaz: MPs 'shocked' by Police Federation bullying

MPs were "shocked" to hear about the culture of bullying at the Police Federation, the chairman of the Home Affairs Committee has said.

Keith Vaz called on the organisation, which represents rank-and-file police officers in England and Wales, to change the way it works, become more transparent and return subscriptions to its members.

Mr Vaz's comments follow the publication of a Home Affairs Committee report that condemned the bullying culture in the federation and accused the organisation of pointlessly sitting on millions of pounds.
