Madeleine McCann: New phase of police activity to begin
The inquiry into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann is to begin what police have described as "a substantial phase of operational activity".
Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said in a Scotland Yard briefing that police in Portugal will lead the activity with the involvement of British officers.
Madeleine was three years old when she went missing on a family holiday in Praia da Luz, in 2007.
