New 'digestion plant' recycles food to power homes

Thousands of tonnes of waste food will soon be used to provide power to homes across south London and Surrey.

A new multi-million pound recycling plant is opening near Chertsey - taking waste food from homes and businesses - and using it to generate renewable electricity.
