D-Day 70th anniversary marked at Arromanches beach

World War Two veterans and world leaders have gathered in Normandy to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

The landing in Nazi-occupied northern France remains the largest military operation of its kind, and went on to change the course of the war in Europe.

Historian Antony Beevor takes a tour of Gold Beach with the BBC's Simon McCoy and explains the course of events at Arromanches 70 years ago.
