Theresa May warns of terror threats to UK

The UK faces a string of "considerable" security threats, including the emergence of militant group Isis and the "expanding scope" of cyber crime, the home secretary has said.

Theresa May also identified the collapse of Syria and the activities of Boko Haram in Nigeria.

"The terrorist threats to this country and our interests are changing faster than at any time since 9/11," she said.

She made the comments during the annual Defence and Security Lecture at Mansion House in London.
