Muslim 7/7 survivor 'disgusted' at man praising attacks

The only Muslim survivor of the July 7 London bomb attack says she is "disgusted" by a man who praised the bombers as "heroic lions".

The British man, who claims to be a jihadist fighting in Syria, also said he would only return to the UK from Syria to "raise the black flag of Islam over Buckingham Palace".

Survivor Sajda Mughal told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "It sent shivers down my spine... him terming the bombers heroic."

"What if it was his mother, or his sister, or his family relative that day, on that tube or bus and they lost their lives? What would he be saying now?"
