Can UK prisons cope with elderly people?

Disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris has been jailed for nearly six years for 12 indecent assaults against four girls - including one aged just seven or eight.

Mr Justice Sweeney said Harris, 84, had taken advantage of his celebrity status and had shown "no remorse".

Harris will be joining many others of his age, as the number of pensioners in prisons has doubled in the past 10 years.

BBC Newsnight's Jim Reed asks whether the prison system in the UK is coping effectively with detaining the rising number of elderly people.
