'I am accepted as a woman bishop'

The Church of England's ruling body, the General Synod, is due to vote again on plans to allow women bishops, after an attempt was blocked in 2012.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has said he was now hopeful of a different outcome.

The Most Reverend Pat Storey, who became the first woman Bishop in the Church of Ireland last year, said women bishops had been accepted ''really well'' and any initial opposition had ''settled down''.
