Women bishops vote: 'Adam was made first, and then Eve'

The Church of England's ruling body, the General Synod, is due to vote again on plans to allow women bishops, after an attempt was blocked in 2012.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has said he is now hopeful of a different outcome.

However Rev Daf Meirion-Jones said he opposed the ordination of women bishops on Biblical grounds.
