NCA: International cooperation needed to tackle paedophile crime

More than 650 suspected paedophiles have been arrested as part of a six-month operation targeting people accessing child abuse images online.

National Crime Agency deputy director general Phil Gormley said it would take more than arrests to tackle the problem of online child abuse.

He told BBC News the major challenge was that internet crime had no territorial boundaries and agencies needed to cooperate internationally.
