Malaysia Airlines crash: Nephew's plea for MH17 victim's body

A nephew of one of the British victims of flight MH17 has called for his uncle's body to be brought home so that his family can start the grieving process and give him "the send-off he deserves".

Glenn Thomas, a media officer working for the World Health Organization, was one of 298 people on board the Malaysia Airlines plane when it came down in eastern Ukraine last Thursday.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, his nephew Jordan Withers paid tribute to his "insatiable" appetite for life and described him as "a wonderful man".

He said some of the footage he had seen of people emptying bags at the scene of the crash was upsetting and that his uncle "deserves more respect than that".
