Siegfried Sassoon's war diaries to be published online

The war diaries of Siegfried Sassoon will be published online for the first time.

The English poet became famous for his writings which documented his own experiences of the First World War.

Cambridge University has digitised more than 20 of his journals, meaning some will be seen by the public for the first time, as their hard copies are too fragile to be displayed.
