Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond has assured voters in tomorrow's Scottish referendum of a "common-sense agreement on a common currency" in the event of a 'Yes' result.

Speaking to Today programme presenter James Naughtie in a final day of interviews before the last votes are cast, he also addressed whether a 'Yes' vote would put Scotland's inclusion in the European Union in doubt:

"Anybody who believes that the country with 1% of the population but 20% of the fish, 25% of the renewable energy, 60% of the oil reserves, is not going to be welcome in the wider Europe doesn't understand the process by which Europe accepts democratic results and, secondly, that Scotland has a huge amount of attractiveness to the rest of the European continent as a nation."
