Alice Gross: Police search suspect's home in west London

Police say they are now treating a Latvian man, Arnis Zalkalns, as a suspect in the disappearance of 14-year-old Alice Gross who has been missing for three weeks.

Arnis Zalkalns, who is 41, vanished a week after Alice disappeared. He has a murder conviction in Latvia and in 2009, he was arrested for indecent assault against a 14-year-old girl in West London.

Police have been searching the property in Ealing, west London, where Arnis Zalkalns lived with his partner and young child.

Sophie Hutchinson reports.
