Lorry driver tells of risks of driving through Calais

The head of a large UK haulage firm has said the number of illegal immigrants trying to enter the UK is the worst he's ever seen.

The situation has apparently made him fear for the safety of his drivers.

Last week 24 migrants were found in the back of a lorry which had just crossed the Channel.

Tensions have been rising in the port of Calais where many migrants try to jump onto lorries in order to enter the UK illegally.

Tim Muffett reports.
