Jimmy Savile's driver Ray Teret on trial in Manchester

The trial of Jimmy Savile's former driver is under way in Manchester.

Ray Teret, 72, from Altrincham, Greater Manchester, was a flatmate of Savile's and worked for him as his chauffeur.

He is charged with a series of historical sex offences - many of them against girls under the age of sixteen.

Ray Teret denies all the charges against him.
