TTIP: Hundreds join protest over trade deal

Protestors gathered in Parliament square to demonstrate against the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.

The agreement between the US and EU aims to remove a wide range of barriers to commerce between the two.

There have been protests in 15 UK cities, with demonstrators claiming the deal could damage the working conditions, the environment and the NHS.

Supporters say the agreement will stimulate more trade and investment and produce more economic growth and employment.
