Chief nurse urges NHS staff to "think carefully"

NHS England's Chief Nursing Officer has appealed to health workers to "think carefully" about four hour strike planned for Monday.

NHS workers in England, and some in Northern Ireland, are staging the first strike in more than 30 years over pay.

Staff including midwives, nurses, ambulance crews, porters and office workers will be taking part.

Speaking to the BBC, Jane Cummings urged workers to "think very carefully " before joining the strike.
