Pay protests: Thousands march against low wages

Tens of thousands of people have marched in London, Glasgow and Belfast, calling for pay increases and an end to austerity measures.

Many of those protesting were public sector workers such as teachers and nurses opposed to a below-inflation 1% pay offer from the government.
