Didcot B power station: Eyewitness says it was 'pretty dramatic'

Oxfordshire fire fighters have confirmed they are tackling a blaze at Didcot B Power Station on Sunday night.

Eyewitness Dr Georgina Miles told BBC News "It was pretty dramatic; there was a lot of damage".

The fire and rescue service said they had 20 appliances at the scene.

Police have advised local residents to keep their doors and windows closed.

The gas-fired power station opened in 1997.
