David Cameron visits Tower of London poppies

A key part of the World War One poppy display at the Tower of London is to stay in place until the end of November, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.

The installation of ceramic poppies was to be dismantled on 12 November but a segment will now remain until the end of the month, before being sent on a tour across the UK until 2018.

The announcement came as the prime minister visited the art installation with his wife Samantha, as Rebecca Williams reports.
