Ched Evans: Resignation over training decision

A patron of Sheffield United football club, Charlie Webster, has told the BBC she's resigned over the club's decision to allow the convicted rapist, Ched Evans, to train with the squad.

Evans was released from prison last month, after serving two and a half years for the offence.

The club has yet to decide whether to re-sign the former Wales international, who played for them prior to his conviction.

TV presenter Charlie Webster announced her decision to step down on the BBC's Newsnight
