Former army officer Ashley Merry on why women should not join the infantry

Former army officer Ashley Merry has told the BBC she does not think it is a good idea for women to join British infantry units.

An Army review of the ban on women serving in close combat has concluded that the change would not have an "adverse effect" on troop cohesion.

But Merry said she would not want to serve alongside women "who wanted to be in face-to-face combat."
