New Year Honour for hedgehog carer Barbara Roberts

Many people on the New Year Honours list are familiar faces, but the vast majority of those named are more used to living out of the spotlight.

Barbara Roberts, founder of the Withington Hedgehog Trust, has been awarded a British Empire Medal in recognition of her work.

She brought one of the many animals she has rescued to meet the BBC Breakfast team.
