'Very difficult' to stop anti-Semitism, Jewish leader says

The president of the board of deputies of British Jews has said that it will be very difficult to fully eradicate anti-Semitism from the UK.

Vivian Wineman welcomed Theresa May's comments about ending anti-Semitism, and praised her record on fighting terrorism.

But he said he didn't think very many British Jewish people were emigrating to Israel, and that in general, the Jewish community in the UK was "very very happy".
