Britain's oldest person Gladys Hooper celebrates 112th birthday

The oldest person in Britain is celebrating her 112th birthday and says she doesn't feel any different to when she was 70.

Gladys Hooper became the UK's oldest centenarian only three days previously, after Ethel Lang died at 114.

Mrs Hooper puts her long life down in part to not smoking and rarely drinking, though admits she does enjoy the occasional glass of port.
