British Gas owner Centrica in big profit fall

Centrica, which owns owns British Gas, has reported a big drop in profits. They fell by 35% last year to £1.75bn - because of the falling price of oil and the warm weather.

As a result, the company says it is cutting its payout to share holders, and will reduce investment in its North Sea operations by 40%.

Simon Gompertz reports.
