Crossrail unearths Bedlam's significant archaeological site
A discovery of 3,000 human skeletons from a burial site that is 400 years old is being described as one of London's most significant archaeological finds
The Bedlam burial ground was used throughout a number of outbreaks of the plague and the Great Fire of London.
It was found by engineers working on the Crossrail project at London's Liverpool Street Station.
