Generation 2015 profiles: Amie Robertson

I'm a 21 year old student at the University of Edinburgh.

My fortunate position is a life radically different to the opportunities my family were offered.

Coming from Wester Hailes, one of Scotland's most deprived council estates, they brought me up to have a firm awareness of the reality of inequality within our society, and the importance of solidarity within working class communities in fighting against Neoliberal governance.

We need a radical alternative to austerity, immediate investment in social housing and critical action on prison reform to help create a fairer society for most vulnerable communities.
