Generation 2015 profiles: Stephanie Kenna

I live with my parents and my two younger siblings. We also have a dog, so I guess he counts too. Where we live, in a small north eastern town, we are surrounded by the remnants of the once-thriving mining industry.

It saddens me to write this, but I have lost interest in my chosen A-level subjects. Instead, I am interested in travelling. It is my ambition to travel and experience all different cultures that the world has to offer.

I am also training to become an outdoor instructor, which is a chance to indulge my love for skiing, climbing and kayaking. It has also helped fuel my interest in teaching.

I have a very limited knowledge of politics, despite studying it at A-level. I do think politicians generally ignore younger generations, and this needs to change.
