Bradford fathers plea for missing families to return

The husbands of two of the women from Bradford, who are thought to have taken their young children to Syria, have made an emotional appeal for their return.

Akhtar Iqbal and Mohammed Shoaib broke down in tears as they pleaded with their wives to come home.

There has been no news of the three women, who are all sisters, and their nine children for almost a week.

They had taken the children, aged between three and 15, to Saudi Arabia on a pilgrimage but instead of coming home they flew to Turkey.

Lucy Manning reports.
