Legal highs: Lab-made drugs 'made me dead inside'
On Tuesday the House of Lords will debate government plans to ban so-called legal highs, but there is a warning from Ireland, which brought in a similar ban five years ago, that the model for Britain's legislation is flawed.
All sides agree that something must be done to deal with the threat from new laboratory-made drugs - but while Ireland's Psychoactive Substances Act has closed the shops selling them, it has not removed them from the streets.
