Red Arrows and parades mark Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day has been marked across the UK with events in many cities to celebrate servicemen and women.

The national event was held in Guildford, Surrey which included a service at the cathedral, a military parade involving hundreds of Armed Forces personnel, veterans and cadets.

The parade began with a fly-past from the Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
