Calais migrants: Hauliers owe £4m in fines

There has been a steep increase in the number of fines issued to lorry drivers for carrying illegal migrants.

In the year to April, 3,300 fines were issued - an increase of 50% on the year before.

Hauliers say the system is unfair, but the Home Office says many lorries don't have basic standards of security.

Angus Crawford reports.
