Kids Company donor 'withdrew £3m funding offer'

The government has said it is working with local councils to help vulnerable young people affected by the closure of the charity Kids Company.

It closed on Wednesday night after running into financial problems.

It has nows emerged that a donor withdrew a £3m funding offer after finding out the organisation was being investigated by the Metropolitan Police.
