Carphone Warehouse customer details hacked in cyber-attack

The high street chain Carphone Warehouse has apologised to millions of its customers who may have had their personal details stolen by hackers in a sophisticated cyber-attack.

The data could include names and addresses as well as bank and credit card details.

The security breach was discovered on Wednesday but the company only released details about it on Saturday afternoon.
