'I ran a cannabis farm from my council flat'

The number of police raids on commercial cannabis farms has fallen by over 17% in the last year, Freedom of Information figures suggest.

Jamie Barnes, from Dagenham, was convicted in 2015 of cannabis cultivation after he grew the drug in his council flat. He was given a suspended sentence and probation.

He told the Victoria Derbyshire programme he was more worried about the prospect of being robbed by fellow criminals than being caught by police.
