More than £500,000 donated to research after Cecil death

Oxford University's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit has received more than half a million pounds in donations, following the death of Cecil the Lion.

Cecil was a well-known tourist attraction in Zimbabwe and was shot by Walter Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota, USA.

Dr Andrew Loveridge is one of the researchers who had been tracking lions, including Cecil.
