Shoreham air crash: Plane was 'like a bomb' - eyewitness

Eyewitnesses have described the scene as a vintage jet crashed while performing at Shoreham Airshow in West Sussex.

Vivien Ayling was driving to work along the A27 when she says the jet crashed on the road beside her.

She said: "I saw this plane coming towards me and I thought 'Gosh, he's extremely low, is that allowed?' He went smack on the carriageway and like a bomb...burst into a ball of flame."
