British Airways blaze: 'Passengers evacuated with luggage'

Passengers who had to evacuate a British Airways jet when one of its engines caught fire say some travellers left the aircraft with their hand luggage, despite instructions not to.

Jack Traisneau and Tom Hamer were among 170 people who evacuated the Boeing 777-200 by emergency slide when its left engine caught fire before take-off from Las Vegas.

At least 14 people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
