John Beattie: 'Rugby has to be very careful'

Rules around tackling in rugby could be changed after reported concussions doubled in five years.

In interviews for a BBC Panorama report, medical experts from World Rugby and the Scottish Rugby Union said that changes were needed to make the game safer.

Peter Robinson, whose son died after suffering a head injury playing rugby, and former Scotland international John Beattie spoke to BBC Breakfast about their experiences and what could be done.

Panorama: Rugby and the Brain - Tackling the Truth - will be broadcast on BBC One on Monday 21 September, at 20:30, and afterwards on the BBC iPlayer.
