Becky Watts murder: Police condemn 'depraved' attack

Police have paid tribute to murdered 16-year-old Becky Watts, saying her killers have still not "fully disclosed" their motivation for the attack.

Becky's step-brother, Nathan Matthews, 28, was found guilty of her murder at Bristol Crown Court. His girlfriend, Shauna Hoare, 21, was acquitted of the same charge but found guilty of manslaughter.

Becky was suffocated in a sexually-motivated attack, before Matthews dismembered her body.

Detective Superintendent Mike Courtier, the senior investigating officer on the case, said it was "virtually impossible to comprehend" the level of depravity behind the attack.
