Flying drones over Syria from the Lincolnshire countryside

On Thursday David Cameron is expected to set out his case to for UK bombing raids against so-called Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq.

The government has identified IS as one of the main threats facing the country, and the Prime Minister is seeking the backing of Parliament before a possible vote on the issue.

From an airbase in Lincolnshire, RAF crews are already flying unmanned drones over the skies of Iraq and Syria.

Our Defence Correspondent Jonathan Beale has been given rare access to the base where crews are currently flying combat missions against IS.
