Air strikes on IS: What hardware has RAF deployed from UK?

The first British airstrikes against targets in Syria have begun, hours after MPs voted to extend the war against so-called Islamic State.

Planes have been taking off from RAF Lossiemouth, in north-east Scotland and RAF Marham in Norfolk.

The aircraft are bound for the RAF base Akrotiri in Cyprus.
