Tadcaster bridge collapse: Town still waiting for flood-relief help

Residents of Tadcaster, a town cut in half when a key bridge collapsed during December's floods, have expressed frustration at the slow pace of action to repair it.

With the bridge down, residents on one side face a 10 mile drive to reach the doctor's surgery on the other, and businesses are also being affected.

Visiting Tadcaster last week, Environment Secretary Elizabeth Truss had described fixing the bridge as a "national priority".

Danny Savage reports.
