'I always knew I was going to win it' - lottery winner Sean Lloyd

A National Lottery jackpot of nearly £60m is up for grabs in Saturday's draw after 14 consecutive rollovers failed to find a winner.

New Camelot rules mean the £57.8m prize is shared out in the first draw after the prize reaches £50m - it hit £50.4m in Wednesday's draw. If no-one matches six numbers on Saturday, the next tier of winners will share the Lotto prize.

Sean Lloyd won £1.8m in January last year, when he matched five numbers plus the bonus ball, and believes he can win tonight.

But Elizabeth Williamson, of the Royal Statistical Society, says it is 150 times more likely that someone will be struck by lightning than win the lottery.
