Pension age change: Thousands of women could work longer

Many women in their 50s say they are being hit hard by changes to the rules on state pensions, with some claiming that they are having to put their plans for retirement on hold.

By 2020, both men and women will have to wait until the age of 66 before they start to receive their state pension. Women have until recently received the money at 60 but the changes for them are being accelerated.
