Holborn Tube station extends ‘standing-only’ trial

A standing-only trial on escalators at one of London Underground's busiest stations is being extended after an initial test resulted in a 30% improved passenger flow.

Normally commuters stand on the right of escalators, allowing others to walk on the left.
