Crash for cash victim says scams have cost him thousands
Thousands of drivers are deliberately causing car crashes every year, according to figures from insurance company Aviva.
It is known as 'crash for cash', - scams in which criminals drive into other vehicles to make a profit from insurance claims.
Stuart Lever, who owns a van hire company in Greater Manchester, told the Victoria Derbyshire programme he has been the victim of almost £300,000 of claims.
